Saint Vincent Ferrer High School Scholarship Offerings

2026-2027

All Scholarships are for 4 years provided that the student maintains the appropriate academic and behavioral expectations.

SCHOLARS PROGRAM:

DOMINICAN SCHOLAR SCHOLARSHIP

Dominican Scholar scholarships are awarded to students who performed in the highest realm on the TACHS test and in their present academic setting.  The scholarship value is $10,000.  The Dominican Scholar must maintain a 94% overall average, participate in the Scholars Program, activities, and follow the school rules as stated in the student handbook.   These students will take Latin.

DR.KUMAR SCHOLAR SCHOLARSHIP

Dr.Kumar Scholar scholarships are awarded to students who performed in the highest realm on the TACHS test and in their present academic setting.  The scholarship value is $7,000.  The Dr.Kumar Scholar must maintain a 94% overall average, participate in the Scholars Program, activities, and follow the school rules as stated in the student handbook.   These students will take Latin.

HONORS PROGRAM:

LUMEN HONORS SCHOLARSHIP

Lumen Honors Scholarships are awarded to members of the Ferrer Honors Program. The scholarship value is $4,000. The student must maintain an overall average of 90%, participate in the Ferrer Honors Program by taking at least one Honors class and following the school rules stated in the student handbook.

SIENA HONORS SCHOLARSHIP

Siena Honors Scholarships are awarded to members of the Ferrer Honors Program. The scholarship value is $3,000. The student must maintain an overall average of 90%, participate in the Ferrer Honors Program by taking at least one Honors class and following the school rules stated in the student handbook.

FALCON HONORS SCHOLARSHIP

Falcon Honors Scholarships are awarded to members of the Ferrer Honors Program. The scholarship value is $2,000. The student must maintain an overall average of 90%, participate in the Ferrer Honors Program by taking at least one Honors class and following the school rules stated in the student handbook.

OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS:

LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP

Legacy Scholarships are awarded to the sister, daughter, or granddaughter of a Ferrer alumna.  The scholarship value is $1,000.  The student must maintain an 80% average and follow the school rules stated in the student handbook.

If a student also receives an Falcon, Siena, Lumen, Dr.Kumar, or Dominican scholarship, then the Legacy Scholarship is superseded by these higher-level scholarships, i.e., if a student is in the Honors Program, she will not also receive a Legacy Scholarship.
